Lion Dennis Sanford Kluk was charter secretary of the Skokie Lions Club in 1983. Since then he has been secretary a number of times and club president, earning 100% awards in each office. Lion Dennis has recruited and sponsored several lady Lions each of whom has since become president of their respective clubs. Lion Dennis has earned Super Lion Awards in Multiple District 1's (Illinois) annual foundation project Candy Day held statewide the 2nd weekend of October. Lion Dennis has attended international conventions in San Francisco, Miami and Dallas as well as the US Canadian Forum in Milwaukee. Lion Dennis was in the International Choir at 2 of those international conventions and was also Sergeant at Arms and an election judge. In 1983 Lion Dennis displayed a world wide collection of Lions Stamps at the Skokie Public Library for a full month. Lion Dennis has also attended Lions Club meetings at clubs in other districts.

Lion Dennis is the online contact for his club. He recently married his wife Linda. Lion Dennis is a substitute teacher of math, science and computers in local schools. He is also earning his full time teaching certificate and masters of science degree in mathematics in the teaching of secondary mathematics. He is a graduate tutoring assistant in precalculus and instructor of algebra on his college campus. He has also lectured on the subject of interesting events on baseball opening day and parliamentary procedure and the calculation of various calendars and the electoral college to various groups. Lion Dennis has also been commander of his American Legion Post, he is a Major in Civil Air Patrol, a Boy Scout Leader at District Level and many local civic and other volunteer positions. He does all this but has never driven a car.
